Amy Lee
knew from a very early age what she wanted to do. She was pretty much a choir
nerd in secondary school. Not only was she president in the Choir Council,
she was also in and did; All-Region Choir, Mixed Chorus, Select Ensemble,
Fall Play, Spring Musical and the Art Club. It was at bandcamp, when she was
13 years old - while playing Meatloaf's "I'll Do Anything For
Love", she met Ben Moody. He was blown away by her talent and finally
made her join forces with him. During high school they both wrote and
composed together, and with ex-bandmate David Hodges, Evanescence was formed. |

Her
classic trademark are her shockingly blue eyes (which are in fact green cuz
she actually wears blue contacts), and her amazing dress-sense. She designs
(and wears, obviously) her own distinctive Goth/Victorian style corsets and
torn dresses. |
