Former
bassist of Courtney Love’s band Hole, and The Smashing
Pumpkins,
Melissa Auf Der Maur has now found herself in her own solo project with her
own band, aptly named Auf Der Maur. After
collaborating with old friends from the likes of Hole,
The Smashing Pumpkins and Queens of the Stone Age, Auf Der Maur has recorded her first
album which was released earlier this year. |

Melissa’s
trademark are perhaps her many custom-made Fender basses, the most famous of
which is her silver glitter bass (pictured above). |
